Nobody Compares

Chapter Three

Anna and I had to take the train followed by two busses to get home, and when we finally got there it was almost 11pm. Since school just ended a week ago we didn’t have to worry about late nights out anymore. Anna would be staying at my house for the whole summer because her parents had to go on some important business trips.

I quietly opened the house door expecting everyone to be sleeping. But of course, my over-protective parents had been waiting up for us to get home.

“Hi mom, hi dad.” I said tiredly, making my way upstairs.

Anna smiled at them, and followed me up the stairs to my room.

My parents had me pretty young. My mom had just turned 22 when she gave birth to me and my dad was almost 23. They were still young so they‘re always going out to clubs and bars, leaving me at home with my older brother, Tyler. He’s four years older than me, 20.

I heard my parents leave the house. Tyler’s long-time girlfriend Samantha knocked on my bedroom door and came inside.

“Hey you two, how was the concert?” she asked us smiling.

“Amazing” Anna and I answered in perfect sync

“Aw that’s good! I’m glad you guys had fun.” She said

“Anyways I have to ask you both a question. Would you two like to come with Tyler and I to London England in 2 days?” She asked, even though our answer was obvious.

“Don’t worry I asked your parents, and yours too, Anna. They said as long as you promised to be good and to help out a little, you guys can come along.”

Anna and I looked at each other, speechless. “OF COURSE WE’LL COME WITH YOU!” I yelled

“Haha, thought so.” She laughed

“Get some sleep, tomorrow you two should start packing, we’ll be going for the whole summer so you’ll need a lot of clothes.” She told us as she left the room, closing the door.

I laid down on my bed. “We should tell Zayn and Niall the good news” I said, pulling out my phone to text Zayn.

Anna grabbed my phone out of my hands.

“Why don’t we let them sleep… We can tell them tomorrow” She said yawning

“Yeah, I guess your right” I admitted lying down

The next day came in no time. I awoke to the huge poster of One Direction I had put up right in front of my bed. I smiled as I got up. Anna was already awake making herself eggs when I came downstairs to the kitchen. She looked at me.

“Nice hair” Anna said sarcastically, nodding her head

“Oh shut up” I responded tiredly

To my surprise she brought me a plate with scrambled eggs on it.

“Wow, wasn’t expecting this” I admitted to her

Anna rolled her eyes as she sat down with her plate of food. She pulled out her phone.

“Want to call them?” She asked, smirking

“Yeah put them on speaker” I said laughing

Anna dialled the number. A few seconds later Niall answered.

“Hello?” he said in a voice that made him seem like he wasn’t fully awake yet.

“Oh sorry, did I wake you?” Anna asked, feeling a little guilty

“ANNA!” he screamed in the phone, in his absolutely adorable strong Irish accent

“NIALL” she mocked him. “I have the best news ever to tell you. Me and Lil are going down to London tomorrow!” she told him in the happiest voice ever

“NO WAY! That’s great! We’re going back in a few hours, so we can meet you at the airport tomorrow to pick you guys up. Text me the details, I gotta go tell Zayn. He’s gunna be so happy” Niall admitted.

“Alright Niall bye” she said hanging up the phone.

A bout a minute after she hung up the phone she got a text.

From: Niall

I told Zayn and he had the biggest smile on his face. Oh and he said that he’d text Lilly when we get to the airport.

Can’t wait to see you again Anna

Love You. xx

Anna read the text message to herself, and then handed the phone over to me so I could read it.

I put the phone on the table. I couldn’t help but smile. That was by-far the cutest text I have ever read.

Anna and I spent the rest of the day asking each other which clothes we should bring. At about 12pm I got a text from Zayn. I noticed Anna pick up her phone at the same.

From: Zayn

Hey Babe. The boys and I are boarding the plane now. Miss you lots.

Niall and I are going to pick the four of you up in a limo.

Oh almost forgot, we’re going out for dinner at 8. You have no choice :)

I looked up from my phone to find Anna smiling away. I laughed to myself. I wonder if her text was as cute as mine was. I thought to myself

We finished packing at about 6, but now that we were both going on dates the day we got to London, we were going to need to bring a dress. Samantha took a break from her own packing to drive us to the mall. We spent almost 3 hours looking for the perfect dresses to buy. Finally we got home at a quarter to 9. We were all exhausted. Our plane was leaving at 7am the next morning so we decided to go sleep early tonight. The next morning at 4:30 am the four of us were up and ready to go. My parents helped us put the bags into the car. Somehow they managed to fit. We said and kissed my parents goodbye as the four of us got into the car. It would take us about 20minutes to get to the airport from home.

We were on the road for about 5 minutes now when I felt my phone vibrate in my coat pocket. I reached inside and typed in my password.

From: Zayn

Morning Babe ♥

So excited to see you tonight, have a good flight.

Love YouJ x

I quickly texted him back then shoved my cellphone back into my pocket.
